Here is our take on a classic margarita, using agave as its sweetener. The fresh lime and agave syrup create the perfect blend of sweet and sour. Fun fact: Agave nectar is made from the fluid of a succulent, known as the blue agave plant. The same plant that tequila is made from. Making it the perfect pair in margarita recipes or a refreshing mocktail without the tequila.
Method
- Run a slice of lime around the rim of the glasses.
- Pour your Celtic Sea Salt onto a small plate. Gently press the rim of the glasses into the plate to coat the edges.
- Add a generous amount of ice to your glasses.
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice, pour in the tequila, fresh lime juice and agave. Cover and shake ingredients for at least 30 seconds.
- Using a strainer pour the cocktail mixture into the prepared glasses.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately. Enjoy!
