Now you can have your apple pie and drink it too! This refreshing and aromatic iced tea is perfect for a hot afternoon.

  1. Hand crush the cinnamon quills into small broken pieces. 
  2. Add black tea, cinnamon and ginger into a heat-proof jug
  3. Boil 200ml spring water (90°C - 100°C)
  4. Pour over the ingredients and leave to infuse for 2 min.
  5. Add the raw sugar, honey or coconut nectar and 1300ml of spring water (cold or room temp) to the tea.
  6. Slice an apple into thin half discs and add to the tea.
  7. Leave to infuse in the fridge for 6-8 hours (or overnight for a more intense flavour).
  8. To serve, pour through a strainer and garnish with fresh apple slices.
